ausArt Capriccioso is the label of ausArt records, the Basque Classical label, that deals with "special" projects: 24-bit audio, LP transfers, unknown or lost recordings, FLAC, books ... and any idea that might contribute to the enjoyment of music, the art of recording and general joie de vivre.
ausArt Capriccioso ausArt records-i proeiktu berezi (24-bit audioa, liburuak, LP-eko digitalizazioak, aintzinako grabaketa errekuperaketa, FLAC, etab) landatzeko sortu zaion adarra da. Hemen, egiten dugun lana egina dago bizitza disfrutatzeko. Behintza hori espero dugu!
ausArt Capriccioso es la parte de ausArt records, the Basque Classical label, rncargada de los proyectos "especiales": 24-bit audio, digitalización de LPs, edición de grabaciones desconocidas o hasta ahora extraviadas, FLAC, libros y, en general, aquellos proyectos que contribuyan a disfrutar un poco mas de la vida.
In the 24-bit field we prepare and will soon publish audio DVDs mastered at 96kHz/24-bit and playable in any DVD player. Until the year 2008, all our recodings were made at 48KHz/16bit, TRUE STEREO. Some of these we have re-mastered to 96kHz/24-bit. As from the beginning of 2008 all our new recordings have been made at this resolution. But, as said above, we are all about special projects about which we shall keep you informed. So keep wired in!
24-bit field -ko arloan prestatzen ari gara audio DVD batzu 96kHz/24-bit erresoluzioan (Hau benetan da "High Resolution" deritzona!) entzungarriak edozein DVD aparagailuan. audio DVD hauek egiteko erabiltzen dugu gure artxiboko zenbait grabaketak (2008ko hasieran 48KHz/16bit, BENETAZKO STEREOn eginak). Orain remasterizatu egin ditugu 96kHz/24-bit erresoluziora. 2008ko hasieratik erresoluzio honetan egiten dugu grabaketa berri guztiak. Baina gauza berri asko garenez beharbada onena izango da kontatuan mantetzea...
En el campo del audio de 24-bits estamos preparando varios audio DVDs que hemos remasterizado a 96kHz/24-bit y esperamos publicar pronto. Estos DVDs se pueden escuchar en cualquie aparato DVD y los estamos preparando a partir de grabaciones nuestras hechas a 48KHz/16bit, en VERDADERO STEREO (¡nada de trampas de estudio!) pues ese era el estándar que usamos hasta comienzos del 2008. A partir de entonces todas nuestras grabaciones han sido hechas a 96KHz/24 bits. Pero como decimos en la introducción, tenemos una lista larga de proyectos nuevos, así que lo mejor será mantenerse en contacto.
The ausArt records setup
Created in 1994 as the Basque classical label, we established three objectives from the beginning:
- popularize worldwide the Basque classical repertoire,
- serve as a platform for artists living in Vasconia, and
- recuperate old and historical recordings which due to the uphealvals of recent Basque history had fallen into oblivion. We have to date, May 2008, edited around 140 titles.
